The Hydrofarm Heatmat is a wide mat for trays of cuttings and seedlings. This mat measures 10 inches by 20 inches, uses a scant 50 watts and will hold two propagation trays. The Hydrofarm Mat warms the rooting area 10 to 20 degrees farenheit above ambient room temperature. It is made with waterproof construction. Enclosed, you will find easy-to-use instructions, and in addition, you will find tips on seed starting and cutting propagation printed right on the mat! The Hydrofarm Heatmat increases cutting and seedling success, and is fully UL listed.
This thermostat is an electronic temperature control device that allows you to select and maintain optimum rooting temperatures for faster seedling or cutting growth. The Heat Mat Thermostat is compatible with all Hydrofarm Seedling Heat Mats and many other heat mats as well. By maintaining ideal temperatures in the rooting area you can get better rooting and faster growth. Includes a temperature sensing probe that you insert into the growing medium for precise control.
